Leaving a gift to the RCN Foundation in your will

Each year the RCN Foundation receives legacies left in wills from people who support the Foundations aim to be there for the Nursing community.

Leaving a gift in your will to the RCN Foundation will enable us to support the whole nursing community in times of hardship and to empower nurses, midwives and health care assistance in learning and development opportunities to improve patient care.

Your gift, no matter what size, will support the nursing profession. The RCN Foundation receives legacies that help fund our bursaries and hardship funds, in turn these make a difference to the lives of hundreds of nursing professionals every year.

Please visit your solicitor to discuss ways in which you can leave a gift to the RCN Foundation or visit https://www.gov.uk/wills-and-charitable-legacies for more information.

Memorial Donations

It is common place to request donations to a charity in lieu of flowers at a funeral. A donation to The RCN Foundation is a fitting way to remember your loved one, they may have been a nursing professional themselves or they may have received exceptional care and wish to give back to the Nursing community. Whatever the motivation to give to the Foundation a funeral director should be able to manage the donations for you. It is also possible to accept online donations via our Just giving site where your friends and family can leave messages in memory too.

All of the donations received by the Foundation will support our work supporting the Nursing community
